Favorite class at VSB and why?

My favorite class at VSB was Dr. Downey’s auditing class. Dr. Downey was my favorite professor of my collegiate career as she truly cares about her students in all aspects, both in the classroom and outside of the classroom. Her class was definitely one of the most challenging classes but she makes it rewarding and keeps you engaged the entire class. Some highlights of the class include a trip to learn about the internal controls at Pepperidge Farm, daily auditing interesting facts or jokes, and an end of the year party in the Idea Accelerator with pizza and Family Feud, audit-style. I would recommend this class with Dr. Downey to any student with flying colors.

Most important thing you learned?

The most important thing I learned was to take advantage of the knowledge and experience of all of your professors. I am extremely grateful to be part of the Villanova School of Business and this being said, I think it is imperative to reach out to professors whenever you have questions or need help. It is amazing to see the diversity, experience and knowledge present throughout the faculty at VSB and I think it is a key part to your successes as a student.

Favorite Villanova memory?

My favorite Villanova memory was traveling on the chartered flight to Houston for the Final Four with fellow classmates and witnessing the men’s basketball team win the national championship. I still replay Jenkins's game winning shot in my head.
