Favorite class at VSB and why?

Competitive Effectiveness and Marketing Management. These two classes prepared me most for the business world and team-orientated nature of the marketing industry.

Most important thing you learned?

How to network. Who you know can often get you in the door, and learning how to network with people has been key to my post-grad success. Villanova did a great job teaching effective communication skills and encouraging frequent/often networking, starting freshman year. By the time I really needed to use these skills (Senior Year), I felt like a pro.

Also, Excel skills. Knowing VLOOKUP and pivot tables will set you apart from other candidates, especially in any sort of analyst role.

Favorite Villanova memory?

Making the trip to Houston as a first year post grad. It was a great mini-reunion of sorts and obviously an amazing weekend to experience and be a part of!
