Favorite class at VSB and why?

My favorite class was MIS 2020: Programming. It was a core class that all MIS majors had to take, and I vividly remember it being a practical, engaging, and fun class. It was taught by my favorite professor, mentor, and dear friend. I learned how to code for the first time, and it truly gave me a better understanding of tech and how it intertwined with business!

Most important thing you learned?

Network, network, network. Before coming to Villanova, I was shy and soft-spoken. However, with firms setting up shop in the Bartley Atrium and hosting events almost every day of the school year, it was hard not to learn to break free from my shell! VSB taught me to be comfortable being uncomfortable, and that was an important lesson I absorbed as I grew as a student and now as a professional.

Favorite Villanova memory?

It’s hard to pick just one! From studying abroad in Singapore to serving on the MIS Society executive board for two years, winning the 2016 NCAA National Championship to ranking as the #1 undergraduate business school… my VSB experience has been tremendously rewarding.
