Favorite class at VSB and why?

Business and Professional Communications with Professor McCloskey. We were in our 8:30am class on Sept 11th discussing Daniel Goleman's book, Emotional Intelligence, when the professor received a call from his sister in NYC. Knowing that much of the class had family ties in the city, Professor McCloskey executed calmly and with the exact emotional intelligence that we had been discussing. He was walking the talk during the most difficult time imaginable and I will always be appreciative and inspired by that.

Most important thing you learned?

Perseverance. This was taught not only in the classroom but as reinforced as part of the Women's Lightweight Crew team, where we relied on each other to row and compete as a single, strong boat.

Favorite Villanova memory?

Reuniting in Houston this past year with my 'Nova friends to watch us win the NCAA Championship!

What are you currently reading?

I actually love using Audible while commuting in NYC. I am currently listening to The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone and Smarter Faster Better by Charles Duhigg.
