Favorite class at VSB and why?

Accounting with Professor Pellish. He was one professor in accounting that I recall bringing a true real-world environment to accounting. He actually inspired me to get into accounting and helped formulate an excellent base for work in the business world.

Most important thing you learned?

Leadership and teamwork. As part of the Villanova Navy ROTC program, I got a lot of leadership and teamwork skills. But after graduation, I realized a lot of the teamwork involved on the academic side translated to the business community. It's hard to teach leadership, but when you involve teamwork it can bring out the best attributes in different people.

Favorite Villanova memory?

There are really too many good memories I have from Villanova: friends, future wife, Navy ROTC, basketball games, the fraternity system, professors, classmates, road trips, etc. My fondest memory, however, likely came after graduating when I married my classmate Kara at the Villanova Chapel.

What are you currently reading?
