Vice President, Global Investment Research, Goldman Sachs

Favorite class at VSB and why?

My favorite was International Economics with Dr. Casario; she has such a unique ability to explain complex subjects in an easy-to-understand manner, and her classes sparked my passion for the markets. She also encouraged me to think big and to not limit myself in what I attempted to achieve.

Most important thing you learned?

I learned the power of relationships and a strong network. It is not enough to just be book smart; you must have a strong network, a personal board of directors, to support you, give guidance and help you achieve your goals. The Villanova faculty helped me land my first internship at PwC, and not long after graduation I was put in touch with a job at Goldman Sachs while attending Villanova’s homecoming and running into a former classmate.

Favorite Villanova memory?

There were so many, but probably my entire senior year. I already had a full-time job at PwC lined up, thanks to my internship, so I was fortunate enough to be able to focus on being involved in various leadership roles on campus.
